Humber to the Wash exhibition 2011 – Last Call for Artists
A last call for artists has been put out for artists wanting to exhibit in this summer’s Humber to the Wash exhibition at The Ropewalk in Barton upon Humber.
Artists who live in the area from the East Riding in the north to Norfolk in the south can submit up to four works, on any theme and in any medium, in this biennial competition.
The exhibition, which will be held in both Gallery One and Artspace, runs from June 18 to September 4 and the exhibits will be chosen by two practising artists, Hilary Angle who is based in Pocklington and Scunthorpe painter and tutor Letitia Thompson.
There are a number of prizes on offer including the Selectors’ Prize of £400 and three runner-up awards of £100 each donated by our sponsors, Grimsby Institute, The Proudfoot Group and Cooke Webster & Co.
There is an entry fee of £3 for each work submitted which is non-returnable regardless of whether y work is accepted or not.
Work must be submitted on Friday, May 27 and Saturday May 28 between 10am and 5pm and Sunday May 29 and Monday May 30 between 10am and 4pm.
