Last call for the Pudding Club
Only a handful to tickets remain for The Pudding Club at The Ropewalk on Thursday, May 5.
What better way to escape the final throes of the local government elections and the AV Referendum than celebrate the best of British Puddings in a joint venture by The Ropewalk and Cook’s Catering of New Holland.
The evening, which starts at 7.30pm, begins with a choice of light supper before the highlight of the evening, four puddings – the traditional steamed treacle sponge and custard, a hot chocolate fondant with vanilla and lemon ice cream, a zesty lemon tart with vanilla pod ice cream and an exotic fruit soaked with lemon grass, lime and chilli syrup – with coffee to finish off the evening.
“We are delighted that Cook’s and The Ropewalk are promoting The Pudding Club and we hope that this will be the first of many evenings where the pudding is king,” said The Ropewalk’s managing director Liz Bennet.
“We are sure that Jackie of Cook’s passion for food, and in particular puddings, will ensure that the evening is a resounding success.”
Tickets cost £20 and are now available from The Ropewalk. Drop in or call 01652 660380.
