Submission Guidelines
For Artists wishing to exhibit in the Exhibition Galleries or Craft Gallery
Ropewalk Contemporary Art & Craft is a private enterprise run by a cooperative
of artists. The co-operative reserve the right to select artists and
makers who meet the standards set by the co-operative and are approved by
a majority at the selection meeting.
To be considered for exhibition, please submit the items listed to the address
above. 1) Up to 10 images of your current work indicating media and
dimensions (digital images on CD for PC, photographs or slides –
not email) 2) Price guide for the images 3) Short CV detailing education, recent exhibitions and an artist’s
statement.
Please enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope if you wish us to return
your submission.
If you are successful, you will be issued with a contract and a list of works.
Work is sold on a sale or return basis with Ropewalk Contemporary Art &
Craft taking a 40% commission (+ VAT) on goods sold. Payments are made
monthly for items sold in the Craft Gallery. For items sold in the Exhibition
Galleries payment will be made after the exhibition has concluded.
