11.12.07 A Crafty Christmas Deck the halls and trim your home for Christmas by creating your own seasonal decorations. Louth based basket maker Susi Mulligan will be running a day class at The Ropewalk Art Centre in Barton on Saturday 15th December. Starting at 10am participants will be able to gain insight into this traditional art, using natural willow grown locally. Participants will be able to create pieces ready to adorn their home for the holiday and are advised to bring along additional materials of their choice such as dried fruits, hydrangea flowers or cinnamon sticks to embellish and individualise the creations. The class costs £25 and runs from 10.30am to 4pm. This is the last in the current season of specialist one day courses at The Ropewalk for 2007 and the 2008 programme will be available after Christmas.
