Phil Eastwood

Philip Eastwood makes work that explores the possibilities of working with
and combining the effects of a range of new and traditional media. His most
recent work includes painting, photography and collage. His work is located
within the tradition of abstraction referencing the visual language of
contemporary mass-produced popular culture. Since 2004 exhibitions and
presentations of his work have been held in North America, Europe, and the
UK. He is the author of 'Invisible Labour: Process in art and design',
published by Beehive Press, 2005.
